Thankful Thursday

I will praise God's name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving.

Psalm 69:30

Jesus, thank you for the wonderful husband and family you have given me.

Jesus, thank you for the sound of joyous laughter as my little girls play together.

Jesus, thank you for the blessings of finance and time that allow us to spend time away as a family.

Jesus, thank you for my extended family who love and support us. This week, Father, bless Amy and Casey especially as they are joined as a family together.

Jesus, thank you for my church family that provide "grandmas, grandpas, aunts and uncles" for little girls living far from home.

Jesus, thank you for the gifts we receive from the Father's hand. And thank you for the freedom to study those gifts and learn how to use them in Your church. The wonderful house group that You have joined together to study and share is such a blessing.

Jesus, most of all thank you for the sacrifice You made for me on the cross. And thank you that you are drawing Jewel to understand that sacrifice. What a joy to watch her make her first encounters with the cross. She reminds me of the wonder I need to feel everyday as I encounter the cross again. Thank you for providing the path of salvation.

You know - it is wonderful that our children sometimes can be out teacher. Their faith is so amazing and pure. They are a great example on how to love Jesus.
I am glad to read that you are having such a great house group to meet for Bible study :)
